Job Summary

Details of Position

Our world English Schools has been running high-quality residential summer courses for Juniors since 1989. In 2025 we will be running our courses from the Prestigious Tonbridge School in Kent. Courses are open to all language levels and abilities from beginners in English right the way up to native level speakers. Our courses are open to students aged between 8 and 17. Our English plus Sport and Activity course combines EFL in small classes (12-15) with a variety of language-based activity, IT, Cookery, Journalism, Arts and Crafts and Sports.

Contracts are offered between the 9th of July and the 6th of August 2025, and both 2 week and 4-week contracts are available with staff induction on 7th & 8th July. All staff are recruited subject to satisfactory references, applicants who do not hold a current enhanced DBS disclosure should be aware that this will be sought on their behalf as a condition of their engagement with us. Degree Required

Teaching experience: 2 years

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

Centre Manager: Previous experience in residential summer school management.

Academic Manager: Previous experience in academic management (summer camp preferred), university degree + DELTA/Trinity Cert. TESOL Diploma

EFL Teacher: Bachelors degree + CELTA/Trinity Cert. TESOL or PGCE/QTS. Minimum 2 year teaching experience is required.

Activity Leaders: Previous sports coaching experience, or experience in dance, theatre, performing arts.

Salary and Benefits

Our course fees are at the top end of the market with an attractive renumeration package. Courses are residential, with full-board accommodation offered where required.

Job Summary

Centre Manager: responsible for the successful and smooth running of all aspects of the courses held at their centre.

Academic Manager: responsible for the EFL provision including course content, course planning and quality control in the delivery of lessons.

EFL Teachers: responsible for the EFL provision to all assigned classes/activities and accompanying students on excursions.

Activity Leader: Responsible for running Sports , evening activities and accompanying students on excursions.
