We are currently recruiting teachers for non-residential positions in London.

Age range: 5-7, 8-12 or 13-17s
Start dates: Mon 23 June or Mon 30 June for 5-7 weeks (+ induction Sat 21 June).
Location: 23 Collingham Gardens, London, SW5 0HL. Nearest tube: Gloucester Road or Earls Court.
Class times: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 12:30 with afternoon classes or activity supervision 13:30-17:00 available during certain weeks
Contact hours: 17.5 or 35 hours per week

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging English as a Foreign Language lessons for international children and teenagers.

Lessons are lively, interactive, and fun. Learning activities help students develop accuracy, fluency, and confidence in spoken English. The weekly museum visit is a highlight, as is the end-of-week presentation a fabulous opportunity for students to showcase project work to their families and guests.

We are a family-run organisation with over 20 years experience running top quality summer programmes. We have truly multinational courses with limits on each language group. In 2024 we welcomed students of 48 different nationalities.

Working with Discovery Summer provides an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team (60% of our 2024 staff had worked with us before) and acquire new teaching skills at a British Council accredited school. In our 2023 British Council inspection we were awarded 12 strengths.
