We specialise in small group classes and private lessons for intermediate to advanced learners (B1-C1). ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our team. You'll teach highly motivated adult learners in small group classes and 1-to-1 sessions. The ideal candidate will be confident using online teaching tools, have excellent communication skills, and share our dedication to making English learning fun and effective.
We currently need a teacher for:
* Thursday evenings: Group class (17:30 - 19:00 UK GMT).
* 1-to-1 lessons: Times to be arranged.
* Occasional cover
This role is likely to expand, so additional availability is important. Classes are offered Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 19:00 (GMT).
We provide access to a full suite of digital coursebooks and supplementary materials to make sure you have everything you need to deliver engaging, interactive lessons.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Deliver engaging online lessons (group and private) following the Brighter English teaching methodology.
* Use communicative approaches to build students confidence in speaking and fluency.
* Plan lessons tailored to students needs and interests (materials provided).
* Provide constructive feedback to help students progress.
* Monitor and assess students progress regularly, adapting lessons as needed.
* Attend occasional team meetings and contribute to improving the student experience.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL.
* Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, including online.
* Native-level English, equivalent to C2 or IELTS Band 8.
* Available to teach weekday classes, including some evenings.
* Strong classroom management and rapport-building skills.
* Clear, confident communication and a friendly, approachable manner.
* Familiarity with online teaching tools.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
* DELTA, DipTESOL, or MA in TESOL.
* Experience preparing students for English exams (including Cambridge C1 Advanced) is highly desirable.
* Experience teaching multilingual classes is an advantage.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* High-speed internet connection, a good quality camera, and a headset.
* A professional teaching environment with appropriate lighting and background.
* Ability to use Zoom effectively; training can be provided if necessary.
