Earn £15.35 per hour with the opportunity for voluntary paid overtime
Working an average of 40 hours per week over 5 days
Fixed Term contract from February until August/September 2025

Being an EFL Teacher at PGL
Working with kids requires energy, confidence and effort; but we guarantee its never, ever boring. Our EFL courses combine classroom based English language lessons, sightseeing excursions and our famous PGL outdoor activities to bring learning to life!
Youll prepare and deliver fun and engaging lessons to our international guests, both in the classroom and outdoors, encouraging and motivating them to improve their English understanding.
You will get a 3-day induction and support from an on-site Director of Studies who will guide you through pre-written weekly or fortnightly programmes for you to deliver (A1-B2 level) with the option for you to include your own resources that meet our Can Do philosophy. Class sizes are a maximum of 15 students.

Are you a PGL person?
You'll need your Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Cert TSEOL or equivalent (PGCE in English/Modern Languages, Primary PGCE leading to QTS) combined with previous experience of teaching or delivering training in a classroom setting. Alongside your passion for teaching, your character is what we value most. PGL people are:
