JCS is a private, bilingual school based in the beautiful Caribbean mountains of the Dominican Republic. We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable full-time teachers for the following positions:
English Teacher - Priority starting in January
Social Studies Teacher - Priority starting in January
Math Teacher
Science Teacher
Our Middle and high school teachers will be responsible for planning and teaching engaging lessons to all of their students. You will have an average of 3-5 classes per day which equates to approximately 16-25 teaching hours per week.

Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
TEFL/TESOL/CELTA qualification
Proof of DBS or other criminal record check
Passion for teaching
The ability to work independently
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change
Bachelors degree in any subject, ideally in education or relevant field
Preferred:
Experience teaching in a school

Salary and Benefits
Full time teacher (7:30 am - 4:00 pm) compensation:
RD$26,000 pesos per month rising to 28,000 in the second year
US$100 country exit fee coverage (upon completion of contract)
US$200 flight reimbursement (upon completion of contract)
Christmas Bonus
Option to tutor after school
Please note that the average salary in the Dominican Republic is approximately RD$15,000 so our compensation package makes for comfortable living.
