Details of Position
Cambridge Abbey College: 29th June - 9th August (shorter contracts may be available).
Teachers must have an accredited EFL qualification such as CELTA or Trinity TESOL and will deliver lessons in the mornings (20 per week). Teachers will also take part in the activities programme in the afternoons or evenings.
Activity leaders should have energy and enthusiasm and the ability to facilitate safe and fun activities and excursions.
All staff will take part in a full-day excursion on Saturdays.
Other duties include:
Attending meetings, training and feedback sessions.
Maintaining proper levels of student discipline, safety and welfare.
Supervising students during breaks, excursions and activities.
Carrying out residential supervision duties.
Qualifications
Previous residential summer school experience is desirable but candidates with enthusiasm, motivation and the ability to work as part of a team will be considered.
Excellent communication skills, flexibility and adaptability are essential.
Salary and Benefits
12.07% holiday pay will be paid at the end of the contract.
Meals are provided for residential staff.
Hourly-paid non-residential positions may also be available. Please get in touch for details.
