Induction: Friday 4th July - Saturday 5th July 2025

Programme: Sunday 6th July - Friday 25th July 2025 (Swanbourne) Friday 1st August 2025 (Stowe)

We're looking for dynamic educators to deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons based on the LINES syllabus. Whether you're an experienced teacher or newly qualified, if you're passionate about inspiring young learners from around the world, we want to hear from you!

With small class sizes (averaging 7-8 students, maximum 10) grouped by age and level, you'll have the opportunity to connect with your students and witness their confidence and language skills grow.

Unlike many summer schools, LINES teachers have no evening, weekend, or airport duties. Your weekends are free, with teaching wrapping up on Friday evenings and placement testing duties restarting on Sunday afternoons.

We offer both residential and non-residential roles at our centres. Residential staff enjoy comfortable accommodation (private room, shared bathroom), full board, and access to sports facilities during free time whenever possible.

Degree Required

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL

University degree (any discipline)/Level 6 qualification

CELTA/Trinity Cert TESOL (or recognised Level 5 equivalent) /BEd/PGCE (Primary Education, English or MFL) with QTS

DESIRABLE

Trinity LTCL Diploma TESOL/ Cambridge DELTA/MA in Linguistics/TESOL

Young Learner specialism e.g. TYLEC, CELTA extension

Job Summary

Work with your teaching partner(s) to prepare and teach EFL classes to an acceptably high standard following guidelines in the Teacher Handbook and as explained by our Academic Team.

Accompany your class on weekly academic excursions to locations such as Silverstone and Bletchley Park.

Exploit every opportunity for students to learn English both inside and outside the classroom ensuring students of different nationalities mix as much as possible.
