Job Summary

Details of Position

We commit to keeping our students and staff safe. We follow safer recruitment procedures. This includes pre-appointment checks: references, an enhanced DBS, an overseas police check, and a qualification check.

We maintain a safe, welcoming environment. This means everyone follows our behaviour management approach. Our school rules are ready, kind and safe and apply to everyone. Everyone should report concerns about adults or students to the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs).

Objective:

Deliver engaging English language lessons to young learners (ages 5-17), following the SKOLA Teaching Framework and weekly project-based curriculum. Provide at least two interactive opportunities per lesson for students to produce English in real-life contexts, both in the classroom and during excursions linked to weekly projects. Contribute to the school's culture by modelling the SKOLA rules: ready, safe, kind.
Achieve measurable outcomes by ensuring 90% of students demonstrate improved confidence in spoken language production, as observed in weekly feedback and end-of-course tutorials. Maintain professional standards by completing 100% of lesson plans, registers, reports, and certificates on time.
Utilise the provided induction training, continuous professional development training, curriculum guidelines, and resources to create an immersive and meaningful learning experience. Align with SKOLAs mission of helping students learn English and discover other cultures by incorporating opportunities for communication and cultural exchange in every aspect of the programme. Successfully fulfill teaching responsibilities during the contract period of June 16 August 29, 2025, with a minimum commitment of four weeks.
