Residential Counsellor
Be the primary contact for students' emotional and personal needs.
Be a visible and approachable presence, encouraging students to speak English, supervising meal times, and addressing any disciplinary or pastoral issues.
Plan, prepare, and lead relevant, high-quality, structured, engaging, and enjoyable evening and weekend activities with energy and creativity, to provide a positive and successful environment in which every student feels engaged, inspired and empowered.
Work with your teaching partner(s) to prepare and teach EFL classes to an acceptably high standard following guidelines in the Teacher Handbook and as explained by our Academic Team.
Accompany your class on weekly academic excursions to locations such as Silverstone and Bletchley Park.
Exploit every opportunity for students to learn English both inside and outside the classroom ensuring students of different nationalities mix as much as possible.
Centre Manager
Provide direction and leadership for all LINES course participants, ensuring the programme is delivered according to LINES standards as laid out in publicity materials, staff handbooks and briefings from Head Office.
Be the Designated Safeguarding and Prevent Lead, always ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all course participants.
