Position Overview: We seek passionate and experienced EFL teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will deliver outstanding English lessons, manage academic administrative tasks, and contribute to the overall success of our language programs. This is a non-residential position.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons following the ES by ZUMA syllabus.
Teach between 15 and 30 hours per week.
Complete administrative tasks promptly, including attendance registers, records of work, weekly plans, student reports, and other necessary documentation.
Assist in placement testing and induction of new students.
Attend and actively participate in academic meetings.
Support as an activity leader during excursions, ensuring educational objectives are met and students are engaged.

Safeguarding:
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons in your care.
Adhere to the ES by ZUMA Child Welfare & Safeguarding policy.
Attend safeguarding training during induction.

Qualifications:

Essential:
CELTA, Trinity TESOL,Tefl or equivalent certification.
High level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Office, email, and database usage.
Excellent lesson planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Capacity to remain calm under pressure.
Enthusiasm for summer school life and working with diverse student populations.
Legal right to work in the USA.

Desirable:
Experience working in a summer school setting, with teenagers
Experience teaching young learners.
Experience working with multinational student groups.
Current valid First Aid certificate.
Training in Child Protection and Safeguarding.
Familiarity with British Council inspection standards.
