Details of Position
We are Victoria University English (VUE), the language school with Victoria University, Melbourne and we are recruiting educators to teach our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at one of our three partner universities in P.R. China: Liaoning University (Shenyang), Henan University (Zhengzhou), or the Central University of Finance and Economics (Changping north of Beijing). The teaching focus is writing and speaking.
Each semester is between 11 and 15 weeks of teaching (depending on the location). The teaching workload is up to 24 sessions (18 hours) per week.
We re recruiting for February 2025 start dates.

Qualifications
Minimum of an undergraduate (bachelor) degree (completed in English) and a CELTA (or strong equivalent)

Salary: 4700 - 5500 Chinese Yuan per week of teaching

The students are in their first and second year of university and they undertake an ELICOS English for Academic Purposes (EAP) preparatory program prior to entry into specialisation courses.
