We average around 500 students per academic year and around 300 studenst do Cambridge ESOL exams with us every year. Our staff consists of several Cambridge Oral Examiners and we are an official Cambridge Preparation Centre. We have extremely highly qualified staff and the atmosphere in the academy is second to none.

Details of Position

Shamrock Idiomas is an established English academy in the centre of Murcia city. We are experts in Cambridge ESOL examinations and have been preparing students of all ages since 1998.
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced teacher to teach all ages from 5 to adults and prepare them for their official Cambridge exams.
The contract will begin on 7th January 2025 until the end of June 2025 with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of our staff.

Degree Required

Teaching experience: 2 years

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

We would like applicants to have a relevant university degree and/or a TEFL qualification. A good level of Spanish is also helpful.

Salary and Benefits

A monthly net salary of 1.235 euros. All tax and social security will be paid by Shamrock. There will be fully paid school Christmas and Easter holidays as well as national and local bank holidays.

Job Summary

The job will be a 34 hour working week in the academy with 25 hours in-class hours. The other 9 hours will be preparation and correction time. All classes are in person and take place in the academy.
The job entails Exam preparation for Cambridge ESOL exams from A1 to C2 for all ages, General English and conversation classes.
