About the Camp: Our summer camp provides an immersive, fun, and educational experience for young learners. In addition to outdoor activities, sports, and arts, we offer English language learning as part of our curriculum. We aim to create a positive, engaging environment where children can improve their language skills while building confidence and making lasting memories.
Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic, dynamic, and friendly volunteers to join our team as informal English language teachers. As a volunteer English teacher, you will support children and teens in improving their English skills through engaging, interactive lessons, games, and activities in a non-formal, relaxed setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate informal ,fun English lessons for groups of children (ages 8-14)
Lead English-language games, activities, and group discussions to encourage practice and language immersion.
Create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to participate.
Help students build their confidence in using English in real-life situations.
Collaborate with other camp staff and volunteers to ensure a smooth and enjoyable camp experience for all participants.
Skills & Qualifications:
Passion for teaching and working with children.
Basic knowledge of English language teaching techniques (prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required).
Ability to make learning fun, interactive, and engaging.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to the needs of students.
Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
Team-oriented, reliable, and adaptable to a variety of tasks.
A basic understanding of working with a diverse group of students from various backgrounds is a plus.
