Job Summary

Details of Position

The Orange Tree is looking for a dynamic, personable and motivated teacher with experience teaching young learners. Many of our classes are made up of young learners in addition to teenagers and adults.

The Orange Tree is a private language teaching centre that has been working in Valencia (Ruzafa) since 1993.

Many of our learners are preparing for Cambridge exams - PET, FCE, CAE and CPE, therefore applicants should have experience teaching exam preparation classes.

The contract will be for a minimum of 16 teaching hours a week and duties include:

- Preparing and delivering classes
- Attending weekly meetings
- Attending staff development sessions
- Peer observations (1-2 per term)
- Invigilating mock exams (1-2 per term)

Qualifications

Essential:

-BA degree
-CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL
-Experience teaching young learners and very young learners
-Experience teaching Cambridge exam preparation classes PET/FCE/CAE/CPE

Desirable:

-PGCE
-CELTYL

Salary and Benefits

The contract will be for a minimum of 16 teaching hours a week. However, this may increase depending on the enrollment period. An additional pay will be made for any hours over the minimum.

The monthly gross salary (before deductions for income tax and social security) is 1,059.57 euros.

We offer full contracts, social security paid by the school, and paid holidays at Christmas, Easter and public holidays.
