Job Summary

Details of Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced teacher to join our quality private language school in the picturesque city of Ferrara, Northern Italy, from January / February 2025.

Our school is a well-established and prestigious language school, we celebrated our 50-year anniversary this year. We offer courses in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and other languages. We have been a TÜV accredited company since 2015 and an authorised centre for Cambridge Assessment English exams for over 20 years.

We require an additional teacher to join our friendly team for the second part of the academic year - from January or February 2025 until May / June 2025, with the possibility of renewing the contract on completion. Courses offered by our school include preparation for Cambridge exams, General and Business English, English for Specific and for Academic Purposes and conversation classes.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL Job requirements:
- Native speaker or native level speaker of English*
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
- Recognised TEFL qualification
- Permission to work within the EU (currently resident in the EU/EU passport holders)

PREFERRED Job requirements
- University degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Italian
- Driver's license

*certification of English language ability at C2 level

Salary and Benefits

- Competitive salary (average 1,100 to 1,400 gross per month depending on experience, total hours worked, type of contract)
- Bonus payment on completion of contract
- Minimum number of hours guaranteed over period of contract.
