Position Details:
Challenge Acadèmia d'Idiomes, located in the heart of Vilafranca del Penedès, is well-known for its commitment to providing high-quality English language education. While we offer Cambridge English Exam preparation, our primary focus is on developing the oral communication skills of our young learners, teens and adults. Our interactive and immersive approach is designed to build confidence in student's speaking abilities, using creative and engaging methods tailored to their needs.
We are currently looking for a passionate and creative English teacher who loves working with students of all ages, ranging from young learners to adults, and Cambridge Exam preparation courses. If you are enthusiastic about fostering language development through fun, hands-on activities and enjoy being proactive, this position is perfect for you.
We are looking for someone who is eager for a long-term, stable position and wants to be part of a committed and established team.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time and indefinite contract available immediately.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, mainly midday and afternoons.
- Skilled in working with groups of different levels, creating a dynamic and nurturing environment where students can develop their language skills.
- Comfortable teaching young learners, but also older students, and Cambridge Exam preparation.
- Focus of lessons is:
* Very young learners: mostly on speaking, following the natural method.
* Children: focus on speaking, gamification and introduction to more academic work.
* Teenagers and adults: mostly Cambridge Exam preparation, sometimes conversation classes.
- Preparation of original materials such as board games, interactive activities and projects to engage students in effective learning experiences.
- Possibility of helping with relocation, two flats available, a one-bedroom flat at 10-minute walking distance from the academy 600,- euros plus utilities/expenses, or a two-bedroom flat for 500,- euros plus utilities/expenses, fifteen-minute drive from Vilafranca.

Academic Year: starting now.
Academic year is September to June (Mondays to Fridays), July (Mondays to Thursdays), August (paid holidays)
Requirements:
At least 2 years of teaching experience.
Experience in creating interactive and original teaching materials.
Skills: creativity, effective communication, knowledge of child development, ability to motivate, organization, conflict resolution, tech-savviness.
Knowledge of IT, CANVA, Google for education tools would be a plus, Cambridge Examination.
Native or near-native level of English.

- Native-level competence and pronunciation in English.
- A clear criminal record check and sexual offences' clearance certificates.
- Preference given to candidates willing to live locally, in Vilafranca del Penedès.
- Teaching of Cambridge exam courses (up to Proficiency).
- B1 level of Spanish.
- Right to work in Spain (NIE/TIE)
