Annual registration for language courses averages 375 students, of which 220 are under 14, so a strong emphasis is placed on teaching young learners with energy and enthusiasm. There is, of course, enough variety to ensure that teachers are assigned classes they enjoy most.

Duration: November 2024 - June 2025
The candidate should be flexible enough to teach various courses & age groups, but will focus primarily on B1 young-teens and adults
Levels: Pre-Intermediate (A2-B1) to Upper Intermediate (B2)
Age groups: Teens
Group sizes: Between 6 and 9

Qualifications

A university diploma and recognised teaching certificate are required, as well as a good nature. Experience is important, but less experienced teachers will find themselves surrounded by support. More experienced teachers may appreciate that we also understand the value of independence.

Salary and Benefits

Compensation is high for the area, and more than enough to keep you comfortable, let you explore the surroundings, and save some before the end of the contract. Payment has also been simplified; You will receive a fixed rate per month and we will provide the flat, cover all utilities, internet, mobile phone chip (bring your own phone), and satellite tv. All you have to worry about is teaching.

We will accompany you through the VISA process, if one is required.
Doorway has recently purchased and renovated one flat for our teachers. The location is ideal and the standard should exceed your expectations. It is not shared.

Job Summary

Doorway is looking for a positive, energetic teacher of English for the 2022-2023 academic year. We guarantee full employment from 3 to 9pm, Monday to Thursday, until 8pm on Friday. There will be no lessons on Saturdays.
