Details of Position
- To lead a team of teachers towards the goals of the organisation.
- To ensure the continued professional development of the academic team.
- To organise and review courses depending on the needs of the stakeholders.
- To oversee student progression and provide information and guidance on welfare and safeguarding to students and staff alike.
- Support international students on programmes across, as needed, both pastorally and academically.
- If a qualified CELTA Tutor, you'll be expected to contribute to the development and coordination of the Academy CELTA provision, both part-time and full-time, online and face-to-face.
- Teach and assess on the CELTA programme following course requirements as set out by Cambridge Assessment Teach a range of EFL/ESP/ESOL programmes from beginner to advanced level.

- DELTA / Trinity Diploma or equivalent such as MA TEFL/EFL including observed teaching or
International Equivalent.
- A bachelors degree as minimum

- DELTM or equivalent
- Teacher training experience

MC Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Director of Studies for our Manchester school. We offer face-to-face General English classes from Beginner to Advanced level (6 levels) as well as IELTS, Cambridge and OET exam preparation courses, ESP, EAP, Skills and Conversation classes. We also offer an extensive Social Activities Calendar and the Foundation Degree Program. Qualified CELTA Tutors are a plus, as there will be the opportunity to Head our Teacher Training Department.
