Native level English Math and Science teacher

Our company Apex Education provides English classes with Native level English teachers to both schools and kindergartens in Ukraine. We aim to create an English-speaking environment for kids from a very young age.

We are currently seeking a teacher for an open role ASAP starting September-October 2024:
Native level English teacher with experience and qualifications to teach Math and Science for primary and middle school age groups in Kyiv, Ukraine on-site


Required Qualifications:
Must be a native level English speaker
In-classroom ESL experience with young learners (10-16 years old) for at least one year for a school position
In-classroom ESL experience with young learners (6-10 years old) for at least one year for a school position
CELTA, TESOL, TEFL or equivalent Teaching Certificate
At least BA degree
Police Clearance Check and References
Experience with Cambridge programs would be a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:
Teaching within Cambridge program assigned
Creating lesson plans following the programs and books assigned
Filling out necessary forms and assignments
Attending trainings and webinars if assigned
Regular communication with the school and our office
Conducting projects for Science classes
Participating in video assessment lessons if assigned

Maximum 22 teaching hours per week

We take into account all safety precautions. In case of air alarms, the lessons continue in school bomb shelters ONLY. You will receive safety training from HR and be supported throughout the employment process.
