Details of Position
We are seeking 1 qualified ESL teacher for a position in an English academy in Alcaniz, Aragon in Spain for the 2024/2025 school year.
Based in Alcaniz, Aragon, we teach highly communicative English to children and adults as well as being an official Cambridge preparation centre. This role involves teaching young learners (ages 3-12), Cambridge exam classes (A2-C1), conversation, and private classes. Group sizes are a maximum of 6 for infantile classes, 8 for young learners and 10 for exam preparation classes. There are no early morning or weekend classes and all lessons take place at the academy minimizing teacher travel time! The position offers a competitive salary of 1300 gross per month for 25 paid hours weekly (20 teaching hours and 5 preparation hours) starting in mid September.

Requirements:
- Native-level English speaker (C2)
- Eligible to work in Spain (EU passport/Spanish residency)
- TEFL/TESOL certification or previous experience
- Experience teaching young learners and preparing students for Cambridge exams
- Passion for teaching and engaging young learners
- 1 year classroom teaching experience
