We are looking for 2 career professionals to join us for the forthcoming academic year. Learning should be fun and dynamic for everyone (teachers included!!). Teachers should be willing to share teaching ideas, assist in the preparation of new teaching materials and to attend training/development days in school and local or national teacher conferences/training days. Continuing teachers are offered subsidised professional development courses such as DELTA etc.
All classes are Monday to Friday only. Our 2024-2025 courses start 10th September.
We have classes in the morning as well as the afternoons/evenings, timetables can be adapted to suit personal preferences and commitments whenever possible.

The school operates from custom built premises, located in one of the main residential areas, 10 minutes walk from the city centre and 400 metres from the beach. We have bright and spacious classrooms which are all equipped with the latest large digital touch screens, computers and internet.
All of our centres are located in the city of Almeria. Timetables may involve teaching in one or more of our own centres and branches, all branches in the city are within 15-20 minutes walk of our main school premises.
Teaching experience: 1 years
Native level English speaker preferred
Qualifications
Eligible to work in the EU or non-EU with Spanish NIE/TIE
CELTA or equivalent certification
Native level speaker of English or equivalent (C2)
Minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience.
A positive attitude, highly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to develop and grow both personally and professionally with our school.
Previous experience with Cambridge exams preferred.
Competent computer user with experience using technology in the classroom (ongoing training provided).

Salary and Benefits
Full time and part time options available.
Teachers normally teach between 20 and 25 hours per week.
Competitive salaries, up to 1500 euros/month gross for full time, depending on hours and experience (standard employment contracts are between 20 and 25 hours of classes per week).
Part time contracts for less than 20 hours per week may also be available if requested.
Permanent employment contracts in full compliance with Spanish employment laws and the collective agreement for our sector. This applies to both full time and part time contracts.
Paid holidays over Christmas, Easter and any local or national holidays which fall within the contractual period.
