Job Summary

Details of Position

Volunteers needed to teach English to Buddhist monks in the foothills of the Himalayas, in the beautiful Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. An unforgettable experience awaits the right person.

Volunteers must be native speakers (or native competence), and have ELT experience and qualifications.

Male or female volunteers needed for 3, 6 or 9 months to start in March or July, teaching in a monastic college.

Salary and Benefits

We cannot pay a salary, but you will get a monthly stipend of 15000 INR (approx $184).

Furnished accommodation is provided in a Tibetan Buddhist monastery.

Job Summary

Teaching EL to Buddhist monks 20 hours a week (five days a week).
