dec camp ltd. is the first company in Ukraine to organize British language camps for children and teenagers, aged 8-17. The camp programme and the staff employed are analogous to any summer camp in the UK. Our first summer camp took place in Poltava region and ran under the brand "ABC camp". We've been operating for over 12 years, welcomed over 8000 campers in this time, and tend to have a 50-50 ratio of local and international staff at our camps.

Job Summary

Details of Position

Big Fish Academy (former DEC camp) is an English language camp in the western part of Ukraine, in the Carpathian Mountains, so it's quite safe. We have campers aged 7-17 yo. It's a community of campers and amazing staff members who've worked with us since 2009. We are going to have a camp season in the western part of Ukraine this summer where we do a variety of activities including projects (art, technologies, business, media...), English lessons, workshops and traditional camp stuff like sports, nature and super cool evening events! We have about 50% rate of returning team members (both internationals and Ukrainians) who we really appreciate, and even bigger percentage of kids coming back every season.

We're currently looking for professional English teachers who have prior experience of teaching international kids in groups of 8-15 students for at least a year, running varied kinds of lessons (conversational English, project-based lessons, more academic ones as well) and, obviously, who are in love with teaching :)

Dates for summer 2025:

1. August, 1-11
2. August, 13-23

Qualifications

TOEFL/EFL/CELTA certificate
or a University Degree in this area

Salary and Benefits

What we offer:

*wage - $600 for 1 camp session (1 camp session = 10 working days + 1 day off)
