Inglés Vivo is now hiring!
Established in 2012 and located on the North Coast of Gran Canaria in the sunny Canary Islands.
We are looking for a permanent teacher to join our academy in Arucas, it is a long-term, afternoon position.
We can offer either 10 hours after-school teaching in a primary school in the afternoons AND/OR 10 hours in our Academy in Arucas.
We don't use books or worksheets in our academy, learning through a games based environment that stimulates our young students' minds.

Degree Required

Teaching experience: 2 years

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

We require qualified, native level English teachers (MINIMUM C2 IN ENGLISH AND NATIVE LEVEL PRONUNCIATION) with experience and passion for teaching young learners.
A good level of spoken Spanish is important.
Knowledge of the Trinity College London exams is a plus.
All applicants must have an EU Passport or a visa for working in Spain.
Applicants should be motivated, energetic and imaginative teachers who are looking for a placement that will further their teaching careers and are interested in learning a fun, innovative and creative method of educating children.

Salary and Benefits

We can offer either 10 hours teaching in a primary school in the afternoons AND/OR 10 hours in our Academy in Arucas. We also offer work during the months of July and August in our Summer Camp in Las Palmas, the capital city of the island.
We offer 30 days paid holidays, the usual health and social benefits.
We also offer INDEFINITE contracts from day one.
Salary will be negotiated depending on your experience and aptitude for the position. (1100-1300 EUROS)
