We are a well-established private language school in the center of Huelva (on the south-west coast of Andalucia, just 1 hour from Seville and the Algarve). We are looking for native level English teachers who want to join our friendly staff. At the academy we teach children from ages 3 - 18, as well as having one-to-one lessons with adults. We also have a contract with a local business where we have lessons with senior staff, either in groups or as one-to-ones.

Covent Garden has been running for over 25 years. We are a private language academy located in the city of Huelva, Andalusia, Spain. We are close to the historic city of Seville and the border with Portugal.

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, native level English teacher to join our friendly and passionate team for the 2024-25 academic year.

You will be responsible for planning and executing afternoon/evening classes in our academy. You will work with children and teenagers studying towards the Cambridge B1, B2 and C1 exams. You will also teach some morning and afternoon classes with our adult students, who have levels ranging from beginner to C2, either in person or online.

CONDITIONS:

18-22 teaching hours per week, Monday-Friday (possibility of adding more hours throughout the year, if desired).
Monthly teacher meetings/workshops.
Induction training: week commencing 23/09/2024.
Classes start: 01/10/2024.
Classes finish: 23/06/2025.

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

CELTA/TEFL certificate.
At least a year of experience in full-time classroom EFL teaching (in Spain would be an advantage).
Experience teaching young learners.
Experience with Cambridge exam preparation.
2 employment references.
I.T. skills.
Basic Spanish would be an advantage.
E.U. passport or Spanish residency.

Salary and Benefits

930 - 1136 euros per month gross, depending on teaching hours (18-22 hours).
A contract from 1st October - 23rd June, including Social Security with free state healthcare.
2 weeks holiday at Christmas, 1 week at Easter and all national bank holidays paid.
Support throughout the year from the DoS and team members.
