Job Summary

Details of Position

The two branches of our language school, part of the British School Group chain, are located in Melfi (PZ) and Venosa (PZ) in the southern Italian region of Basilicata. We are interested to hear from experienced teachers who are good communicators, comfortable with and competent in dealing with Young Learners, dependable, able to see the contract through to the end, and conscientious in their day-to-day work.

Qualifications

(1) Availability from start of Jan 2025.
(2) EU passport holders. Non-EU citizens ALREADY in possession of valid working papers for Italy.
(3) Native English speakers. Proficient non-native speakers at CEFR C1-C2 will also be considered.
(4) Cambridge CELTA or equivalent.
(5) Education to degree level preferred.
(6) Willingness to teach and experience in teaching Young Learners essential. Experience in activities-based lessons e.g. arts & crafts, drama / theatre, songs, and games desirable.
(7) Expertise in teaching Cambridge exams (A2, B1, B2, C1) desirable.

Salary and Benefits

CONTRACT: Up to the end of May 2025. The contract is renewable upon mutual consent. SALARY: approx. EUR 1,300 net per month. HOURS: 21-23 classroom hours per week.
