We are a well-established private Language School with 30 years of experience, located in the right centre of Termoli, a nice town on the Adriatic coast. We are recognised as full Cambridge Examination Centre. We teach children, teenagers and adults and sometimes work for companies. We care about the quality of teaching in the classroom and provide the materials and support to ensure a teacher is able to work well and grow in the time they are with us. Details of Position

We are looking for a mother tongue level English teacher with a University degree, a CELTA qualification from a reputable organization, with some experience with children,teenagers and adults at all levels.
You have to be sociable, energetic and reliable, and work well on your own and within a team, really interested in teaching, and prepared to accept a culture entirely different from yours. You are encouraged to be creative in the classroom and are given the freedom to design your own lessons to suit the needs of your students.
The school is in Termoli, a nice town on the Adriatic coast with no English speaking community but with friendly people. The cost of living is not high and teachers manage to live well and save money.

The British School is a small, professional and well established private school with more than 30 years of experience, which provides very good teaching resources, free internet access and a friendly atmosphere. The classes follow course books and most of them are focused on exam preparation. The school is a full Cambridge exam centre.

We will help you find accommodation, usually within walking distance from the school.

We offer a full time contract from October 2024 to June 2025 with a benefit at the end of it. Possibility of teaching some courses online.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:
be EU citizens (or holding valid working papers);
be a native level speaker and hold valid working papers for Italy;
be able to obtain a clean DBS check;
have a University degree;
have a recognised Tefl/Celta teaching qualification.

Salary and Benefits

Full time contract up to 24 hours per week. Fixed monthly salary, Christmas, Easter and Bank Holidays included. Extra bonus at the end of the school year and training provided. Supportive and professional environment.
