Job Summary

Details of Position

The British School of Casale is a well-established language institution in the North West of Italy, in Casale Monferrato, Piedmont. It is a Cambridge English Authorised Centre (IT050) for the full suite of exams. It has 8 in-house speaking examiners and it offers courses linked to the Cambridge English Exam syllabus and provides its students (children, teenagers and adults) with skills and competencies that can be profitably used and recognized across Europe and world-wide. The School collaborates with all the major state schools and companies in the area. It is also a lifelong learning agency, accredited by the Regione Piemonte and is fully ISO 9001 compliant. It is a dynamic and expanding school. It is also accredited with MIM (Ministero dell'Istruzione e del Merito) for professional development courses aimed at state school teachers.

We are looking for qualified, serious and committed teachers for our KIDS, TEENS and ADULT courses. Teachers must be familiar with Cambridge English exams.

Teaching experience: 2 years

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

Applicants MUST:
-be native level speakers.
-be eligible to work in Italy (EU citizen, residence permit issued in Italy, or dual nationality)
-have a certificate of higher education/a university degree.
-have a teaching qualification
-have at least 3 years teaching experience.
-have a driving licence: teachers must be able to drive the school car
-have some working knowledge of Italian.
-have experience with Zoom/Google Meet lessons.
Applicants must be committed and serious, open to learning about the job and have class management skills. They must be able to work in a team. Class management skills, which include assessment and keeping registers, are of the essence. The School has it own LMS and delivers online courses as well. The candidate should therefore be familiar with Zoom/Google Meet.

Salary and Benefits

Teachers will be taken on with an Italian employment contract.
We offer:
-a contract from January 2024 until May 2024 with the possibility of extending the contract for the following year
-a guaranteed monthly salary (Euro 1,100.00-1.200,00,)
